Venturing out to do something new or different is a challenge in itself; but what’s even more of a challenge is when something happens unexpected in our lives.  Both actions can hit you with a blow that can quite possibly have you rethinking your life decisions, however, that’s not necessarily a bad thing — especially if you’re trying to make an improvement in any area.  You may have heard the saying, “tough times don’t last; tough people do”.  Well, that applies to you to; you’re tougher than you know.

If you think about it, you have survived every bad moment that you’ve ever had in your life and if you’re going through something now then I want to remind you that this is no different.  Sometimes you have to get it wrong in order to get it right.  Some of the greatest accomplishments and the hugest breakthroughs in history has happened on the heels of challenges from trial and error.  To get something that you’ve never had it takes time, patience, faith and a work ethic that’s progressive.

If you’re going through “hell”, why would you stop to take in the view?  Like any trip, life is no different.  When you leave your home you don’t expect issues that aren’t forecasted, but you still prepare yourself, right?  Before a long road trip, I guarantee you make sure you have a jack, an inflated spare tire and a set of jumper cables, at least, right?  

You wouldn’t dare be stranded on the side of the road any time of day admiring the mechanical problem, would you?  You’ll most likely do whatever you can to get yourself to a familiar or safe place as soon as possible because your focus is on survival if you’re faced with possible danger, right? Life is no different.  Equip yourself as best as possible and survive whatever the challenge is.  Survival now means to be stronger later.
