At Water Your Seedz, our focus is on assisting in the growth and development of our young men through mentoring sessions, “how-to” exercises and outdoor excursions.
Each mentee will attend 12 mentoring sessions and will graduate upon completion of our program called “The W.Y.S.E. Experience”.
Our points of convergence are the importance of education, understanding purpose, belief in self, the power of inspiration, the importance of self-control, mental and physical health awareness, and the balance of respect.
Our objective is to raise the level of consciousness of our young men so they can live a more enhanced life. There is no set age to begin learning skills that are conducive to living a balanced life. We understand that not everyone’s background is the same so we pride ourselves on fostering a positive environment in a bully-free zone to allow each student to concentrate on and celebrate what makes our young men unique.
The culture of our program is to help with developing or improving social skills and career pathing by using mindfulness and consistency in areas such as self and social awareness, time management, effective teamworking and the importance of our actions and decision making.
Observation and testimonials have shown that by giving our young men the opportunity to interact with other young men of their age group we increase their chances for success in future endeavors. The engagement amongst attendees also affords them an opportunity and the ability to discover new interests or expand on knowledge they’ve already acquired.
To bolster our young men’s self-awareness, their worth and how to add value to the world we created “The W.Y.S.E. Experience”. We developed this curriculum in an effort to minimize the school to prison pipeline that our country has faced and continues to face. Our execution strategy incorporates proven methodologies with qualified and attentive personnel.
We aim to build a better world with the “seedz” of the future by having our young men be viewed as prospects and not suspects. We’re always excited to help our youth become fishers of men and we welcome you to help us do it!
