Registration is now open for The W.Y.S.E. Experience Summer Mentorship Program.
This is more than a summer activity. It’s an opportunity for young men to develop confidence, character, leadership, discipline, emotional intelligence, and practical life skills in a positive environment led by mentors who are committed to helping them grow.
Because meaningful mentorship happens in COME-UNITY—not crowds—space is intentionally limited to 20 young men (mothers are encouraged to accompany their sons).

Program Overview
Our mission is to bolster our young men’s self-awareness, their understanding of self-worth and how to add value to the world by providing young men from single-mother households with a safe environment to be heard and challenged.
We educate by using guidance rooted in lived experience, demonstrate accountability that builds character, and provide inspiration that is grounded in leadership and L.O.V.E.
Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, mentorship, and positive accountability, participants will be challenged to grow into responsible, purpose-driven young men.Program Details
Program Runs: July 22nd thru August 20th 2026 (Wednesday’s & Thursday’s)
Program Time: 6PM – 8PM
Participants: Young men (11-17 years old; mothers/grandmothers encouraged to accompany)
Location: Sherwood Forest Recreation Center
Tuition: Free
Registration Fee: $25* (non-refundable)
The registration fee reserves your son’s place in the program and helps offset the cost of program materials and supplies. Because space is limited, applications are not considered complete until the registration fee has been received.

Each session is designed to help young men become confident, responsible leaders within their homes, schools, and communities.

The success of this mentorship depends on partnership with parents and guardians.
By registering your son, you agree to:

- Ensure your son arrives on time
- Communicate any scheduling conflicts.
- Encourage participation and engagement throughout the program.

Because enrollment is limited, we ask that families register only if they are committed to participating for the duration of the program.

The W.Y.S.E. Experience Summer Mentorship Program is offered tuition-free because we believe every young man deserves access to meaningful mentorship.
To help ensure that our limited enrollment is reserved for families who are genuinely committed to participating, a $25 non-refundable registration fee is required to complete the application process.
This fee helps offset the cost of program materials, supplies, and administrative expenses while serving as a commitment to your son’s participation throughout the program.
