Seasons

Seasons don’t just mark the earth’s weather patterns and daylight hours. Our life has seasons as well but I’m not talking about equinoxes and solstices.  I’m talking about phases and stages.  We often think that life stages only occur from birth to adulthood then life just happens.  Some people buy into the notion that when something good happens they claim “good luck” and when something unfortunate happens some say “the enemy just don’t want me to win”.  I just can’t give anyone that kind of authority so I simply take accountability and I do the necessary work.

While some just might have people trying to stop their progression; I don’t particularly agree with the idea of “good luck”.  I do, however, believe in favor and I also believe things work out when preparation and opportunity meet up.  With that being said, we can be in a season of favor, we can be in a season of waiting or we can be in a season of learning.  The seasons that we may go through vary because as much as we are the same we are different.

During every season something has to be given in exchange for what’s needed in order for us to thrive or advance in life.  Flowers produce pollen and in return we get food to eat.  There’s no natural fruit that grows overnight.  To gain or lose weight it takes time.  There’s nothing natural that will allow us to build muscle or lose weight overnight.  Every living thing has a place to thrive, under normal circumstances, and every living thing has a purpose in this world.  Our free-will and being around the wrong “seedz” can jeopardize our harvest.

We’re all wired to do extraordinary things and the seasons that we’re in is designed to prepare us for the new things ahead.  Learning and educating does not end after graduation; that was just the season to prepare us for the next one and it just keeps going and as a result we share our experiences with others throughout our walk in life.  So if you’ve had a dry season but you’ve been diligent in your duties then look forward to your drought ending!

Don’t ever focus on what’s not happening for you; instead picture the end result for what it is that you want.  The seed that has dirt on it is not buried; it just has to push the dirt out of its way so that it can grow.
